We are a participatory group that works together by using collaborative tools and process. We deliver professional services and products by leveraging our skills, experience, and resources based on the project type and scale. 

STEP 01

REACH OUT TO US

Clients provide a brief description of the project and services required by contacting us on contact@designodal. 

STEP 02

TEAM IDENTIFICATION

Designodal, Inc. team identifies amongst the various workgroups, the lead designer or collaborator for the project based on the project type, specialty, scope of work, and scale of the project.

STEP 03

CLIENT MEETING & SITE VISIT

Designodal, Inc. sets up Client meetings to identify project goals, budget, timeline, project narrative, and the design style. And, if possible, visit the project site to understand the site’s potential & constraints.

STEP 04

DESIGN SERVICE AGREEMENT

Draft design service agreement as mutually agreed for the project based on the project program, project estimate, and stages of design service.

STEP 05

PROJECT DATA COLLECTION

The client to provide or facilitate feasibility studies, digital land surveys, property documents, codes, local ordinance, etc. before the project’s commencement.

STEP 06

DESIGN BRIEF & STORYBOARD

Designodal, Inc. facilitates team kick-off and design charrette to build participatory dialogue between team members, clients, community, and other stakeholders to develop the design concept and project storyboards.

STEP 07

DESIGN CONCEPT / BLUE SKY

Initiate dialogue for vision and the big idea for the project. Bubble diagrams, hand sketches, and multi-dimensional visualization tools illustrate spatial arrangement, programs, constraints, opportunities, and design styles.

STEP 08

SCHEMATIC DESIGN

The selected concept developed to produce plans, sections, perspectives, artwork, preliminary grading & drainage, material boards, and vegetation palettes for preliminary estimation and approval.

STEP 09

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Design Development includes plans, sections, construction details, material schedule, irrigation layout, lighting layout, grading, drainage plans, etc.as per the project contract.

STEP 10

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

Construction Documentation includes finalizing a set of comprehensive drawings and specifications for the project. Specialized consultants outside Designodal’s scope may have to be hired for specialized engineering services.

STEP 11

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

Construction administration is optional. For large scale projects, specialized project management companies have to be hired by the clients for project supervision.
